Annual Day 2018

The vibrancy School Annual Day propelled into magnificent and reverberating celebration on 11th Dec. 2018 at 6 pm in our School ground. An edifying theme AAKASHAM- Sight and Sound Show comprising scintillating performance of various dance forms and skits was presented meticulously by the students of classes 6 to 12. The Chief Guest of the day was Prof. Dr. M K C Nair, Vice Chancellor of Kerala University of Health and Sciences, was received and escorted by the reception committee, including the members from Management, Teachers, Cabinet Members and SPC. The official programme commenced with the reception followed by the display of school band, unveiling of Mother Earth symbolising the central theme AAKASAM, then rendering of welcome song and prayer song. Our Principal Fr. Shaju Edamana CMI, extended a warm welcome to all dignitaries and gathering. The function was presided by Rev. Walter Thellapilly CMI. The days programme was inaugurated by the Chief Guest. As part of the inaugural ceremony 24 balloons were released representing successful completion of 24 years. The Chief Guest during his inaugural speech he emphasised need for interpersonal relation to make the students loving and comfortable. The proud moment of the day was honouring the recipients Mrs. Sheela Thomas, Master GM Nihal Sarin and Mr.Jos C Raphael for their extraordinary achievements in their own respective careers. Release of Book on Biography of Grand Master Nihal Sarin revealing the milestone was a cherishing moment of the year. Audience greeted the announcement with thunderous applause. Vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Cicily V G, Staff Secretary. The most sought after moments where then unfolded with Sight and Sound Show AAKASAM. It was the journey depicting the great stalwarts who were instrumental in shaping the destiny of mankind. This was made as a central theme in order to encourage present generation of students to reach their excellence sky being the limit. The programme was an amalgamation of various hues befitting the theme wondrously. The props and costume added an astounding visual treat to the enthralled spectators present. The 2 hrs. cultural show held the audience in awe and left them enlightened as the show culminated. The most riveting experience was the telecast of short film PADACHARAN, winner of Clap Media Film Society for Best Short Film, directed by our Music Master, Mr. B Unnnikrishnan . The program concluded with National Anthem. The entire school participated whole heartedly towards the success of this grand event encapsulating a plethora of activities.
