Devamatha CMI Public School is administered by the Devamatha Public School Trust, formed by the members of Devamatha Province of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate. It is the first CBSE co-educational senior secondary school in the Devamatha Province of CMI Congregation.

Francis J. Vellara, Rinu Thomas and Aishwarya Narayanan, the toppers of the AISSCE 2016-17, were the special guests of honour on June 1st,2017. Fr. Walter Thelappilly CMI, Provincial and Manager, blessed the gathering and reminded the students to be environment friendly and to become the role models in nature conservation. Fr. As a novel method to promote fine tune the oratory literary skills of students, Devamatha conducted ‘The Word-2016’ where students, parents, grandparents, teachers & non-teaching staff spoke about various topics and found a place in the Guinness Book of World Records. .

On the occasion of Kerala’s 60th Jubilee, Devamatha organised an audio -visual extravaganza of sixty poems and entered into the Indian Book of Records.Over 2428 students took part in the recital of poems ranging from Ancient to Modern.
