Devamatha CMI Public School celebrated the 77th Independence Day with patriotic fervor and enthusiasm. The celebration was marked by various cultural performances and a vibrant parade, showcasing the spirit of unity and freedom.
The Chief Guest for the event was Lt. Col. Prof. Dr. Regina P.F, the esteemed Head of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology Nursing at PK DAS College of Nursing, Vaniyamkulam. Dr. Regina addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of freedom and the responsibilities that come with it. Her inspiring speech motivated the students and faculty to contribute positively to society and uphold the values of independence.
Fr. Joice Elavathingal CMI, the Principal of Devamatha CMI Public School, also addressed the students, highlighting the significance of education in shaping responsible citizens and urging them to cherish the freedom that the nation has fought for.
The program included flag hoisting, cultural performances by the students, and a special tribute to the freedom fighters. The entire school community, including teachers, students, and parents, participated actively in the celebration.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, and everyone left with a renewed sense of patriotism and pride.
