Thrissur, November 29, 2024 — The much-awaited Science Exhibition at Devamatha CMI Public School in Thrissur, titled "Inesperado", took place on November 29, 2024, leaving attendees in awe with its innovative projects and demonstrations. The exhibition, organized by the students under the guidance of their teachers, showcased the boundless creativity and scientific curiosity of the school community.
The theme of the exhibition, "Inesperado", which translates to “unexpected” in English, was reflected in the various exhibits that combined cutting-edge technology with surprising scientific phenomena. Students from different grades presented a diverse range of projects, including working models, experiments, and interactive displays on topics such as renewable energy, robotics, environmental sustainability, space exploration, and more.
Fr. Joice Elavathingal CMI, the Principal of Devamatha CMI Public School, inaugurated the event and praised the students for their dedication and innovative thinking. In his opening remarks, Fr. Elavathingal emphasized the importance of fostering a love for science and technology in young minds and how such exhibitions encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills. He also congratulated the teachers for nurturing creativity and guiding the students throughout their research and preparation.
Among the standout exhibits was a robotics demonstration, where students showcased a robot designed to assist with household tasks, as well as a solar-powered water purifier, which drew significant interest due to its practical application for sustainable living. Additionally, the virtual reality space exploration experience offered a thrilling journey through the solar system, allowing visitors to interact with planets and stars in a fully immersive environment.
The event was not only an educational experience but also an engaging one, with students eagerly explaining the concepts behind their exhibits to visitors and answering questions. Parents, teachers, and community members were amazed by the students' depth of knowledge and their ability to present complex scientific ideas in simple and understandable ways.
As the day came to a close, the exhibition was hailed as a resounding success. The creative energy of the students, combined with their passion for science, made "Inesperado" a memorable event for all involved.
