WORLD MUSIC DAY & INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY

Devamatha CMI Public School celebrated World Music Day and International Yoga Day today. Rev. Fr. Anjo Puthoor CMI ( Chethana Academy, Thrissur) was the chief guest of the day. Various programmes for the day were conducted by the music department and yoga teacher Ms Sujitha K. S. In the valuable presence of Rev. Fr. Sunny Punnelipparambil CMI, Rev. Fr. Sinto Nangini CMI, Mr C. A. Francis and Ms Sheela Thomas. The chief guest, along with his students at Chetna Academy, entertained the audience with Carnatic music and a popular song of Thrissur. The former students of Devamatha school who are the members of the famous 'PANI PURI' MUSIC BAND enthralled the audience with their melodious songs. Group songs and a beautiful Yoga dance performed by students of std VI-X added colour to the programme. Ms Sujitha K. S, the Yoga teacher gave the students practice in breathing and Relaxation techniques. The programme was a huge success.
