Uniform & appearance guidelines

The school uniform is obligatory on all school days and at official school functions unless otherwise indicated. It is the duty of the parents to see that pupils come to school neatly dressed in the prescribed uniform. Students should clip their nails regularly and avoid using nail polish. Girls should avoid using eye make-up.

Class I to V

On all days — Boys

  • Grey shorts

On all days — Girls

  • Grey pleated pinafore

Shirt — Boys & Girls

  • Plain blue shirt: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
  • T-shirt: Wednesday and Saturday

Class VI to X

On all days — Boys

  • Grey pants

On all days — Girls

  • Grey pants with overcoat

Shirt — Boys & Girls

  • Plain blue shirt: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
  • T-shirt: Wednesday and Saturday

Class XI & XII

On all days — Boys

  • Grey pants

Lab coat is compulsory for all Science Group students.

General Uniform & Grooming Rules

  • Black shoes with grey and white striped socks are required for all students.
  • A belt with the school emblem is compulsory. The emblem must be fixed on the shirt pocket for boys and on the pinafore or overcoat for girls.
  • Jewellery and gold ornaments are not permitted. Girls may wear only a pair of simple ear-studs.
  • Girls with very short hair should use black hair bands. Long hair should be tied in a ponytail or plaited neatly.
  • No student is expected to colour or dye their hair. Boys should have a regular haircut; low-waist pants, fancy beards and whiskers are strictly prohibited.
  • Black sandals are permitted only during the monsoon season.
